—His Book of Prophecy

A series of outlines and lessons from Ezekiel. I'm commencing this new series in 2020, and publishing the Ezekiel lessons as I write them. The project will take a long time to mature, but here are the beginnings. Tap any title next to an arrow in the list below.

Ezekiel Chapters 4‑5,The 4th and 5th chapters of Ezekiel outlined and analysed. Ezekiel enacts the siege of Jerusalem as God instructs. God describes the coming judgment and destruction.

Ezekiel Chapters 6‑7‑8The 6th, 7th, and 8th chapters of Ezekiel are outlined and analysed. God’s Judgment and Blessing; Lament for Jerusalem; Vision of Abominations.

Ezekiel Chapters 9‑10‑11Chapters 9, 10, and 11 of Ezekiel are outlined and analysed. Visions of Executions, Exchange of fire, Cherubim and wheels (repeated), Glory leaves the city. Another lesson in a series commenced 2020.

Ezekiel Chapters 12‑13‑14‑15Chapters 12 to 15 of Ezekiel are outlined and analysed. Ezekiel records: God’s warning of Jerusalem’s destruction soon; God’s condemnation of false prophets with idols in their hearts; God’s punishment using famine, beasts, sword, and plague; God’s Parable of Vine and Tree.

Ezekiel Chapters 16‑17These chapters continue to record the messages that came to Ezekiel from the LORD God. God speaks of his love for Israel, his sorrow for their terrible sins, and their coming destruction at the hands of their enemies. But again God promises that whilst Israel is a tree cut down, a tender branch of it will be grown into a new tree and thrive.

Ezekiel Chapters 18-19-20Chapters 18, 19, and 20 of Ezekiel outlined and analysed. A key question is whether God punishes the innocent. There is a lament, delivered in parables, about the sons of Josiah. There is also the story of Israel’s rebellion.

Ezekiel Chapters 21-22-23Chapters 21, 22, and 23 of Ezekiel are outlined and analysed. These are about Babylon's role, Israel's sins, and a parable of two immoral sisters Ohola and Oholibah.

New lessons will be added to the kist as (God willing) they are written.
